Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced, strategic Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence to join our Global Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing robust Business-to-Business competitive intelligence programs, enabling competitive intelligence platforms across the enterprise, and leading a dedicated team of analysts to drive actionable strategic recommendations. As a pivotal member of the Global Marketing team, you will develop and manage competitive intelligence initiatives that deliver critical insights to guide strategic decision-making, fuel growth, and identify emerging market threats and opportunities. What You’ll Do In this role, you will: - Lead the entire enterprise competitive intelligence lifecycle and a team of analysts to define programmatic offerings, manage research platforms, oversee primary and secondary data collection, and synthesize advanced analytics into clear, impactful business recommendations. - Partner closely with senior leadership and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across assigned business units—including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Strategy—to optimize product development against competitor offerings and enhance Go-To-Market strategies. - Mature and ensure compliance with the Competitive Intelligence function's operational standards, processes, and policies to effectively scale capabilities, optimize organizational efficiency, and drive the enterprise-wide adoption of competitive intelligence platforms. What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have: - 5+ years of progressive experience in a Business-to-Business competitive intelligence, market intelligence, strategy, or similar analytical role within a complex enterprise or a leading market research agency. - Strong knowledge of best-practice Business-to-Business competitive intelligence methodologies (both qualitative and quantitative), competitive intelligence techniques utilizing Artificial Intelligence, and enterprise competitive intelligence platforms (such as Contify, Crayon, Klue, or Alphasense). - Proven ability in executive-level consulting, advisory skills, conceptual thinking, and handling ambiguity, with a track record of translating complex competitive data into practical, data-backed strategic recommendations. - A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in business, marketing, market research, economics, or a related field; a professional market research or competitive intelligence certification (such as Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals) is highly preferred.
