Job Description:

  • develop and continuously refine Wonder’s NRO strategy to align with company growth objectives and customer experience standards
  • partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, training, supply chain, marketing, and development, to ensure flawless execution of new store openings
  • own and manage NRO timelines, budgets, and key milestones to guarantee on-time, on-budget openings
  • identify and proactively mitigate potential risks and operational challenges before and during openings
  • enhance NRO playbooks and best practices to drive operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability
  • build, develop, and mentor a high-performing NRO team that embodies Wonder’s customer-first mindset
  • establish training programs for NRO managers and trainers to ensure operational excellence at every stage
  • partner with regional and site leadership to recruit and onboard top talent for new store openings
  • provide coaching and ongoing support to field operations teams to ensure long-term success post-launch
  • oversee supply chain and logistics planning to ensure timely delivery of equipment, ingredients, and uniforms
  • coordinate with site leadership to prepare for and execute seamless store set-up and launch activities
  • implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and adherence to Wonder’s high standards
  • analyze post-opening performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
  • develop and execute best-in-class training programs for new team members to deliver exceptional service and food quality
  • ensure all training initiatives align with Wonder’s brand standards and operational requirements
  • provide ongoing post-launch support, monitoring KPIs, and working with leadership to optimize performance
  • gather insights from newly opened locations to refine future training and onboarding processes
  • oversee pre-opening budgets and ensure financial targets are met without compromising quality
  • monitor NRO-related expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • provide leadership with regular financial and operational reports on new store openings
  • implement corrective action plans for underperforming stores to drive guest satisfaction, improve efficiency, and increase revenue

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality operations
  • at least 3+ years leading new store openings or multi-unit expansions
  • proven ability to develop and execute large-scale operational plans in a high-growth environment
  • strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple openings simultaneously
  • in-depth understanding of restaurant operations, food safety regulations, and customer service excellence
  • strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and optimizing costs
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders
  • willingness to travel extensively (50-70%) to oversee new store openings in multiple regions
