<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Work Arrangement:<br><br></strong>This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM’s Hudson office in Detroit, Michigan three times per week, at a minimum.<br><br><strong>The Role:<br><br></strong>We are seeking an<strong> Executive Administrative Assistant</strong> to support multiple Executives within Corporate Strategy. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the capability to build and maintain relationships across the enterprise. The successful candidate should appreciate a fast-paced, high-energy team and be adaptable to change. You should be able solve problems through action, make high-quality decisions, and think with a strategic mindset. Graceful management of ambiguity, cultivation of innovation, and an insatiable desire to collaborate are all required to be successful in the role.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong> <br><br><ul><li>Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support including managing complex calendars and travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, managing expenses and badge requests. This includes scheduling with board members and their consultant as needed. </li><li>Document Preparation: Create, edit, and format documents and presentations. Ensure all materials are accurate, professional, and align with team standards.  </li><li>Communication: Serve as a liaison between the executives and internal/external stakeholders. Craft clear and impactful communications and handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.  </li><li>Team Coordination: Organize and facilitate team meetings and events, including finding conference rooms, preparing agendas, organizing safety presenters, taking notes and following up on action items as needed. </li><li>Initiative: Identify opportunities for process improvement and take the initiative to implement solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency. Provide back up support to others as needed. </li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across various departments to gather information, coordinate efforts, and ensure the successful completion of projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues at all levels, particularly EA peers on other teams and SLT EA peers. </li><li>Event Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring all logistics are handled seamlessly as needed.  <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Your Required Skills & Abilities:</strong> <br><br><ul><li>3-5+ years’ experience supporting Senior level Executives/Leaders</li><li>Demonstrated high-level of integrity and discretion handling confidential matters  </li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>Must demonstrate strong learning agility</li><li>Ability to look ahead, proactive anticipation of leader and business needs </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently in an ever-changing environment  </li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)  </li><li>Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Must exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>What Will Give You A Competitive Edge: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Professional training and/or certification(s) in administrative skills/support </li><li>Prior work experience within Software/Technology, Sales or Human Resources<br><br><br></li></ul>GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
